The academic focus at Genesis Preparatory School, at both the Middle and Upper Division level, goes back to basics. We focus on language arts, math, science, and social studies, following National and Sunshine State Standards in each subject area. We believe that math and English serve as anchor courses for academic success in Upper Division classes and beyond. Refining and solidifying those skills give students the foundation they need to succeed in every other area of our college preparatory academic curriculum, which include foreign language, science, social studies and history, and the fine arts. In all of our classes, Middle and Upper Division students are encouraged and challenged to develop their problem solving, critical thinking, decision making, and cooperative skills through their academic pursuits. We are committed to helping each student develop into independent learners and thinkers.
As students transition from Middle Division to Upper Division, they are encouraged to challenge their academic limits through challenging courses in the Honors, Advanced Placement, and dual enrollment course tracks. Our goal is to help Upper Division students prepare for college and beyond. Our strong academic programs, combined with our small class sizes, offer students opportunities they won’t find elsewhere.
