ESOL classes are part of the curriculum, and we help students to prepare for the TOEFL, SAT, and ACT. Our teachers are very supportive of our international students for whom English is not a first language.
Genesis Preparatory School is situated on 14 wooded and beautifully landscaped acres, and features nine buildings, including a wonderful “gymnatorium,” a library, computer lab, and many modern amenities which enhance the fine academic and arts programs offered at the school.

About the Homestay...
While you study at one of America’s premier college preparatory high schools, you will be staying with a host American family that will provide you care, hospitality, and support. Our homestay families are members of our faculty, staff, or are parents of our American students; therefore, they are very familiar with our school and its expectations. You will be part of a family, as well as a most welcomed member of the wider Genesis community. We place students in homes where they will be comfortable and happy, and all of our homestay families are sensitive to and appreciative of the cultures of their international guests. You will be our “window on the world” as we provide you with a genuine experience of America! Our students come from all over the world, from Asia to Latin America, from Europe to Africa, and are part of all the school’s activities from athletics to the performing arts, and they have ample opportunities to enjoy many of the attractions and amenities in the Tampa Bay area of beautiful, sunny Florida USA.
