Genesis Preparatory School

Parental involvement is an essential ingredient at Genesis Prep. All parents are members of the Parent support group, which exists to enhance the quality of activities on campus, and to nurture a sense of community and support among GPS families.

Each family is expected to volunteer twenty hours per school year. This can be accomplished in a variety of ways involving projects which benefit the students and the school. One of THE most popular activities is manning the concession stand in the Student Union on game days. Parents also coordinate the reception at Open House, arrange transportation for class field trips, and provide a network of support during the changing teen years.
